<Poem>
伊水分來不自由
無人解愛為誰流
家家拋向牆根底
唯我栽蓮越小樓
<End Poem>
<Translation>
The stream divides itself and is curbed;
No one really loves it.
For whose profit does it flow?
Family after family dismisses it from mind
As wholly beneath their fancies.
Only I plant lotuses in it,
Deflecting it till it flows
Beside my small tower.
